Längenfeld during summer
Where the valley opens up to a vast, green area ...
... there Längenfeld is located. Surrounded by impressive summits of the Stubai and Ötztal Alpes.
Our guests have 150 km of hiking trails at their disposal. Every tour will be unique - no matter if you have a professional guide as company or if you are on your own. A network of 70 km of bike trails, 40 km of these for mountainbikes, make their way through the valley. The fun park "Wasser und Steine" in Huben as well as the adjoining "Fun- and Adventure park" will most certainly let children's hearts beat a little bit faster!
The museum in Lehn at Längenfeld documents the farmer's living space and lifestyle at the Ötztal up until the 1950s. The heart of the museum builds the "Paarhof" with a shed. Close-by there is a "geblocktes Seitenflurhaus" from the 17th century.
The fish pond Gottsgut ist between Längenfeld and Huben. You can fish and barbecue at the pond.
Hiking in and around Längenfeld
In the middle of the Ötz valley a varied hiking area for every taste opens up! 150 km of hiking trails lead through the green valley of Längenfeld via the mountain edges of the Ötztal and the Stubai Alps. A special treat are the marvellous panoramic hiking tours which circle the town on moderate altitude!
At the plain of Längenfeld's valley one can undertake perfectly relaxing hiking tours! Approx. 40 km of trails lead along the many small ponds of the district.
Only a few hundred meters above the Längenfeld basin you may go hiking with the most beautiful panoramic view. On these only lightly ascending trails your view will wander over the hills and meadows which lay right at your feet!
Längenfeld is surrounded by steep mountain sides, which open out into cliffy primary rock summits. Via further "Kare" and passing by crystal high mountain lakes the trails lead to beautiful spots within the high alpine area.
